ADVANCEMENT COORDINATOR, Full-time, Non-Exempt

Duties & Responsibilities

Annual Giving Program (35%): Work to grow annual giving programs at the Museum through careful strategic planning and increased constituent engagement.

·         Responsible for growth of membership program by attracting and retaining new members for the Museum.

·         Ensure membership program structure and benefits are optimal for program performance.

·         Develop strategies and techniques for growth of annual fund donors and revenue at the Museum. Create accurate reports about the efficiency and growth of these funds.

·         Manage Adopt-A-Car Program.

·         Coordinate Museum car raffle program and develop strategies for improvement.

Provide accurate and timely acknowledgement of gifts after accurately recording them in Donor CRM system. Work with Manager of Institutional Advancement and Director to acknowledge gifts as appropriate.

Rental Program (30%): Manage facility rental program at the Museum.

·         Serve as sales representative for all parties interested in booking a special event or rental of the Museum facility.

·         Assist renters with planning and vendor coordination for events.

·         Coordinate event scheduling with all appropriate staff members.

·         Serve as scheduling representative for car rental program.

·         Facilitate schedule for cars and drivers; including coordination with staff to ensure vehicle availability.

Volunteer Recruitment & Management (10%): Oversee operation of volunteer program.

·         Responsible for recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers.

·         Plan volunteer training and appreciation events.

·         Support EOC to ensure that guides are scheduled when requested for Museum tours and events.

Other Duties (25%): Office Management

·         Order and manage office supplies and process incoming and outgoing mail.

·         Work with other staff members to support events, including volunteer requests and scheduling.

·         Serve as back-up tour guide and provide support to Educator when necessary.

·         Process community donation requests and other tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree Required.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·         Experience with donor and volunteer management a plus.

·         Experience planning events and programs.

·         Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience working with Neon CRM or another donor management platform a plus.

·         Experience developing and implementing events in a leadership role.

·         Experience with annual giving a plus.

·         Experience with sales or rentals a plus.
