AMM Extends Early-Bird Conference Registration — Online Registration Now Available
AMM has extended the early-bird registration for the 2012 AMM Conference, Civic Engagement and Public Discourse, through Thursday, May 31 and online registration is now available. The conference is scheduled for July 23-26 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana and will feature excellent sessions, speakers and evening events. Indianapolis has a thriving cultural scene with many outstanding museums and the host hotel is located in the heart of this affordable and pedestrian-friendly city. AMM Launches 2012 Leadership Academy
The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) is pleased to announce that the 2012 AMM Leadership Academy is scheduled for October 15-19 at the exclusive Union League Club in Chicago, Illinois. Designed for mid-level museum professionals, department heads and new directors who want to advance their careers in the museum field, the program will provide leadership knowledge and skill development in an affordable and time-sensitive format. The curriculum will include presentations by distinguished leaders in the museum and non-profit fields. The early-bird registration deadline is April 30, 2012. There is a discounted rate for AMM members. Attendance will be limited to 30 participants.
